I purchased a pair of these olympic weights to supplement my home gym and as of this review I couldn’t be happier and more satisfied with these 20kg plates. I have effectively used them for pressing (incline, decline and flat), squatting, and perhaps most notably, deadlifting for which the bumper plates have held up as good as new despite the occasional drop. I use wooden platform boards for pulls and although each reset creates stress these plates have properly dispersed weight and have not cracked, chipped, warped or deformed in any way. I also consistently use incremental chain resistance and every so often the 10kg chains will inadvertently swing into the plates — again, not so much as a scratch to show let alone noticeable wear and tear.
