Having recently had surgery for a rotator cuff and bicep repair, I am a very frequent flyer at my local physical therapist. I’ve used more bands and stretchers and other contraptions than most people probably know exist. One of the most painful and difficult challenges in recovery has been any motion where I have to put my arm behind my back from the bottom up (imagine trying to reach that spot right in the middle that always itches. This type of band is perfect for assisting with this motion. I can put my right (recovering) arm in one of the slots and place it behind my back and then pull up with the left hand until I can feel the stretch. The quality is excellent–as I said, I’ve used lots of these and this is as nice or nicer quality than the ones my therapist has. It is definitely going to help in my recovery and will be a nice addition to my workout room in the future when I can do more things.
